LA FEMME

The band was established eight years ago in the seaside Biarritz, and on the one hand it’s the continuator of the world success of the French music, and on the other hand it’s its best successor. La Femme’s music resembles a few decades of French expansion to the world music scenes. From the classical songs, through the electronic music, dance stars to the cursed rock artists. La Femme drowned their music tradition in psychedelia, as they always loved American surf rock. La Femme are still present in French music press, which against to the world trends is doing quite good. Although, La Femme do not need popularity, they even avoid the attention, they became the stars at the Seine. After the knockout -their debut album “Psycho Tropical Berlin” – the best French album of 2013, which even won with “Random Access Memories” by Daft Punk – the second album was awaited just as much as another royal baby. They did it. “Mystère” is an inspiring cross genre escapade without a goal. The kind of music in which you can get lost, and return safely with a sense of fulfilment. La Femme’s concerts, just as their studio creativity are a living legend. The biggest French festivals fight for their exclusive performances, and Red Hot Chili Peppers took them on tour in Europe. They have never played in Poland before. Open’er 2018 will fix that, as a part of series Republique de la Musique returning after many years.
