From Harlem to the Open'er stage! Khadimou Fall, known as Sheck Wes, is an American rapper of Senegalese descent, who in his teenage years signed a contract with Kanye West and Travis Scott. After the incredible success of his single "Mo Bamba" (over 90 million views on YouTube) and the well-received "Live Sheck Wes Die Sheck Wes" or "Chippi Chippi", the fans finally got his debut album "Mudboy" which premiered in October and received very good reviews (Best New Music on Pitchfork). Although in his songs Sheck Wes focuses mainly on autobiographical themes and life on the streets of New York, there are also verses in "Jiggy On The Shits" that are a nod to his Senegalese roots.
